A Houston father-of-two was gunned down while working at a farmer’s market by two teen thieves targeting a golf cart.
Surveillance footage caught the moment Damon Price, 36, was shot and killed by two youngsters as he tried to stop them from stealing the cart on Thursday.
Price was checking in delivery trucks at Houston Farmers Market when the incident unfolded.
“This happened while he was doing his job,” Price’s father said. “Really, ain’t nothing that can be said about a man going to work.”
Price leaves behind a 14-year-old and 4-year-old daughters and an ex-wife whose undergoing chemo therapy.
“Put the guns down. The man was just working trying to provide for his kids and his family,” the grieving woman said.
“I just ask that justice be served. Whoever did this to him, just turn yourself in. He had babies, what if it was you?”
Police said that a 14-year-old suspect was arrested in connection to Price’s killing.
