A Maryland bus driver saved dozens of lives after he managed to pull over and stop the filled bus while struggling with a deadly heart attack.
Ruize Bell, 63, suffered a medical emergency Wednesday while driving a bus full of passengers in Gaithersburg.

The father of 10 had worked for the Maryland County Department of Transportation since 2012.
“That really spoke to his character: to be suffering his own tragedy and to still think about protecting other people,” said Bell’s supervisor, Latika Ochieng.
“I don’t think people know how that could’ve gone in so many other ways.”
