California gunman shooting at passing vehicles kills innocent father-of-4

A California father was randomly shot and killed Monday morning, police in San Jacinto said.

Julio Cesar Rodarte, 39, was identified as the depraved gunman who allegedly started firing at passing vehicles at around 7:05 a.m.

Rodarte struck multiple vehicles, hitting two people including 42-year-old Victor Hugo Leon who succumbed to his injuries.

    “He leaves us very broken,” the widow said. “He had that mean face, but he was such a sweetheart, always doing his best for his family.”

    The victim was only minutes away from his home returning from an overnight shift at a warehouse.

    Rodarte was booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility for murder and ten counts of attempted murder.
