A Florida woman was indicted on first-degree murder charges in connection with the April murder of her 7-year-old daughter.
Naikishia Williams, 32, is accused of killing her daughter, Nia Williams, on April 28 in Riviera Beach with a blow to the abdomen.

“She should have been in jail a long time ago,” caregiver Rebecca Finley said following Williams’ arrest on Friday.
Finley said that she had contacted Florida’s Department of Children and Families two weeks before the girl’s death after noticing that she was “very malnourished.”
“There wasn’t one person who was not aware of this young lady being a dangerous mother,” she added.
