New York City news, New York news.

A fight between two men on a Bronx street ended in the deaths of two innocent bystanders early Friday, the NYPD said.

The deadly shooting started as a “regular fist fight” between two men outside an apartment building on Davidson Avenue in University Heights at around 12:15 a.m.

One of the street fighters ran into the building and came out with a group of four or five friends, including a gunman brandishing a massive chrome pistol, a witness recalled.

“They were about to jump the dude. One dude came out, he pulled out a .40 caliber chrome pistol and he started shooting.”
