Two deceased bodies were recovered from a wrecked aircraft near Six Mile Lake in Alaska, State Troopers said.
Authorities were notified around 9:30 p.m. Friday of an upside-down small plane in the area of Six Mile Lake near Nondalton.

Two victims, identified as 58-year-old Dave Hegers and 45-year-old Aaron Fryer, were recovered from the wreckage of the plane.
In a social media post, the National Transportation Safety Board announced that an investigation into “the crash of a Taylorcraft BC-12 aircraft near Nondalton, Alaska” was ongoing.
The families of the two victims have been notified of the incident.
