A Georgia girl died over the weekend after she drowned at a friend’s pool party, her family said.

Layla Gigger was days shy of turning 6 when she tragically died at a party hosted by a previous neighbor.

The girl’s mother brought her and two younger siblings to the party. She then left Layla with another mother at the party to take the smaller children back home.
