A Florida boy was found dead in a body of water near his Orlando home Tuesday, authorities said.
7-year-old Emerson Felix disappeared from his home Monday night, police said.

His body was located hours later not far from his home in a body of water.
It was not immediately clear if Felix was autistic. The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.
“We mourn Emerson’s loss and extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, his classmates, and all who loved him,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
