A deadly explosion rocked a Lincoln, New York house Wednesday evening killing a woman and seriously hurting a man.
Firefighters were at the scene just before 7 p.m. over reports of a house explosion about 30 miles from Syracuse.
Once at the scene, crews found debris from the structure and learned that two people were still “entrapped”.
A female victim was declared dead at the scene while a man was pulled out of the debris and airlifted to a hospital.
Multiple agencies assisted Madison County deputies in the response including the New York State Police, Lincoln Fire Department, and Greater Lenox Ambulance Service.
“Thank you to all of our first responders who assisted this evening, from 911 who took the call to the many on scene,” a Madison County representative said.
