A Wisconsin boy was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly posted online bomb threats targeting a residence.
The Wisconsin Statewide Intelligence Center alerted the Janesville Police Department to reports of a bomb threat posted on Snapchat late Tuesday.
Later that night, the 15-year-old boy suspected of making the threat was taken into custody and booked into the Youth Services Center. He faces charges of making terroristic threats.
Investigators searched the juvenile’s home and found no suspicious materials.
They described the threat he allegedly made as vague and cited a residence as the target.
Police urged people to report any concerning or threatening posts found on social media.
