The parents of a 6-week-old boy who died in 2023 were arrested on murder charges in connection to his death.
On Nov. 29, 2023, Hartley Hall was found dead at a residence along Riverside Boulevard in Wurtland.
Raceland Police arrested Carrie Hall, 25, in Greenup County on Friday. Jacob Hall, 36, was arrested a couple of hours later in Boyd County and is set to be brought back to Greenup County later this week.
Both were indicted on murder and criminal charges in connection to their infant son’s death.
Detectives said the investigation and arrests were hindered by the lack of cooperation from relatives.
“You know anytime something like that happens, it’s rough. It’s not only rough on everybody on the family side of it, but it’s also rough on us going there and for everybody involved,” Det. Brett Ritchie said.
