Police in Ohio are investigating the deaths of three women inside a Columbus home as homicides after their bodies were discovered by a friend on Saturday afternoon.
Officers responded to the home at around 4 p.m. after receiving a medical distress call from the friend.
First responders pronounced all three women dead at the scene. No drugs were found at the home and the manner of death remains unspecified.
Sgt. James Fuqua with the Columbus Police described the scene as “very complex.”
“We are working through the manner of death to determine what actually happened before we release any of that information,” Fuqua said.
“It’s going to take a little bit longer to make sure that we’re very careful and going through the scene meticulously, so we do not miss any key piece of evidence because unfortunately, it’s very unusual to have so many victims in one incident.”
