Authorities in Osceola County, Florida, arrested a 35-year-old woman accused of killing her 14-year-old daughter by holding her head underwater in a bathtub.
Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Poinciana home Wednesday to find Kelsey Glover chasing witnesses with a hammer.
“When the officers get there, there’s actually wrestling a hammer away from her, and she’s trying to strike the lady who is trying to prevent her from harming her daughter,” Sheriff Mark Lopez said.
“It was just something that we caught in the act, and God only knows which direction that was going to go if we didn’t get there on time and kick the door in.”
Glover’s daughter, Giselle, was found unresponsive in the bathtub and later died at a hospital.
“What happened to her is unimaginable, and we are determined to get justice for Giselle,” Lopez added.
