‘Absolutely horrible’: Mom, infant killed in drive-by shooting in Connecticut

A young woman and her baby were killed, and a third victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting in Hartford, Connecticut Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred in broad daylight on New Britain Avenue outside a grocery store just before 3 p.m.

The suspect’s car pulled up next to the victims’ vehicle and shots were fired. Three people sustained gunshot wounds and were dropped off at a hospital.

    The third victim is expected to survive. Lt. Aaron Boisvert said police are actively looking for the suspect.

    “Horrible, absolutely horrible. It’s all I can say about that,” Boisvert said.
