1 killed, 13 injured in crash involving stolen car, CTA bus in Chicago

A deadly crash involving a CTA bus and a stolen car on Chicago’s South Side has left one person dead, and 13 others injured Wednesday.

The accident occurred at around 7 p.m. near West 60th Street and South State Street in the area of Englewood and Washington Park, authorities said.

Three suspects speeding in a stolen vehicle on State Street drove onto oncoming traffic before crashing into another car and the CTA bus at an intersection.

    The three suspects in the stolen car survived with non-life-threatening injuries and were detained.

    Four firearms were found in the stolen vehicle, according to Chicago Police.
