A Pennsylvania man has admitted to shooting his pregnant girlfriend dead after being “fried” and “in there” from smoking weed.
Kaiheem Jerelle Williams, 19, called 911 to his Delaware County apartment, admitting to shooting Tanyiah Bell, also 19, to death while she watched TV.
The shooting occurred on Nov. 14, about an hour after Williams returned from work and started smoking weed outside his apartment.
“He returned home and Bell was ‘fine’ watching TV in the bedroom. He turned around and ‘blacked out.’ His next memory was calling 911 from Bell’s phone because she was shot.”
Bell was shot in the head and later succumbed to her injuries. She was reportedly eight months pregnant at the time of her death.
“The child was born alive at the time of the emergency surgery and is currently on life support with minimal neurological brain activity,” police said.
“The condition is irreversible. The child is not expected to survive without the life support machines.”
