Virginia woman dies after falling off car’s hood; getting run over

A Virginia woman was killed in a crash after she fell off the hood of a car early Tuesday morning, authorities in Rockingham County said.

34-year-old Dymond Thacker was reportedly riding on top of a Hyundai Elantra driven by a suspected impaired woman when tragedy struck at around 9:30 a.m.

As the car went down a hill on Bryant Hollow Road, Thacker fell off the hood and was fatally hit by the vehicle.

    Elliott faces charges of involuntary manslaughter while under the influence, possession of narcotics, and driving without a license.

    A second passenger of the car was not harmed and is currently not facing charges.
