Three people were fatally shot outside a Louisville, Kentucky driver’s licensing office, authorities said Friday.
Responding officers found the three victims outside the Driver’s License Branch in the 6200 block of Willismore Dr. in Valley Station around noon.
A man died at the scene while two women succumbed at the University of Louisville Hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the victims as Raysa Valdes, 29, Antwanette Chillers, 33, and 18-year-old Leslye Harbin Jr.
“Like I was just in shock, I couldn’t believe it, it was like something off of a movie,” an eyewitness described.
“Two masked men came from around the corner and then walked up to the guy that was laying on the ground and shot him in the stomach, in the chest, probably about seven times,”
“And then the taller of the two men shot him in the head at least two to three more times and then they ran off. But I didn’t see them shoot the two women at all.”
Louisville Metro Police said that no arrests were made but there was no threat to the community.
“There does not seem to be a public threat at this point as it relates to this incident,” said LMPD Officer Donald Boeckman. “It’s absolutely a tragedy.”
