A 10-year-old Indiana boy is fighting for his life after he was struck by a stray bullet in a shooting that left three men injured.
The boy was hit to the back of his neck when gunshots were fired outside a home in the 5800 block of 29th Place in Gary, Indiana just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police said that three men, ages 18, 20, and 22, arrived at Methodist Northlake Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims told cops the shooting occurred between them shortly after they met up outside the boy’s home.
The child, who was involved in the shooting, was taken to Methodist Northlake Hospital and then to the University of Chicago for treatment.
