A school bus carrying four children and the driver crashed into a Hopewell, Virginia, home Monday morning, officials said.
Two children were taken to a hospital following the crash that occurred just before 8:15 a.m.

The bus knocked down a mailbox and a maple tree. Neighbors said that no one lived at the house, adding that the owner had just finished renovations in a bid to sell it.
“I went over and saw the bus underneath the house,” one said. “It was kind of shocking when we pulled in and couldn’t figure out what was going on when we saw the crime scene tape.”
Authorities are investigating whether wet roads contributed to the incident.
