Man in his 30s dies after falling while subway surfing in Bronx

A man in his 30s died early Wednesday morning in the Bronx after falling while subway surfing, police said.

Officers were called to the scene near the 238th St. station at Broadway in Kingsbridge at around 3:15 a.m.

    Northbound 1 train service was suspended for about two hours until the medical examiner removed the body.

    The NYPD said that two people were injured in subway surfing incidents so far this year.
