‘He is now dead himself’: Man attending loved one’s funeral shot, killed at Virginia cemetery

Police in Richmond, Virginia, said that a person attending a loved one’s funeral was shot and killed after an altercation at the cemetery.

Officers responded to the shooting at Oakwood Cemetery just after 2:40 p.m. and learned that two funeral attendees were involved in an argument that escalated into the shooting.

    The shooting victim was rushed to a hospital, where he died. Police are seeking the public’s help to find the shooter.

    “It’s a tragedy; A person that shows up to grieve and mourn a loved one is now dead himself.”
