President Donald Trump told reporters Friday that he “did well” in his annual physical exams, adding that the medical reports would be ready by Sunday.
Trump, 78, spent about five hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he underwent “every test you can imagine.”
“I was there for a long time. I think I did very well,” he said.
After the examination, Trump headed to Air Force One. Midflight on his way to Florida, he spoke to reporters, revealing that doctors offered him “a little bit” of advice to change his lifestyle for the better.
“Overall, I felt I was in very good shape. A good heart, a good soul, a very good soul,” he said.
Trump also said he took a cognitive test and “got every answer right.”
He mentioned his predecessor when discussing undergoing mental acuity screening as “what the American people want.”
“Biden refused to take it,” he remarked.
