The search for a missing Tennessee boy came to a grim end Thursday after his body was located at the apartment complex where he vanished hours earlier.
5-year-old Kayden Nolen left the apartment Wednesday after the aunt, who was watching him, fell asleep.
Police launched a citywide search for the child, who was ultimately located in a body of water at the apartment complex.

Authorities said Kayden had previously gone missing and had a history of wandering off.
“I’m just glad they found him when they did as soon as they did,” the boy’s grandfather said.
“Pay attention to your kids more. Look out for them more. In a blink of an eye, your child can be gone. You’re never overprotective. You’re just being protective enough.”
