Ocoee news, Florida news.

A convicted killer was arrested in Florida two weeks after he was mistakenly released from a Georgia jail, the U.S. Marshals Service announced Friday.

Kathan Guzman, 22, was apprehended without incident at his mother’s Ocoee home by the Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force.

The escapee was booked into the Orlando County Jail on a fugitive-from-justice charge.

Last year, Guzman was found guilty of strangling his 19-year-old girlfriend, Dalila Grayson, to death.
