Six people are presumed dead after a passenger plane crashed in a muddy field about 50 miles south of Albany, New York.
The twin-engine Mitsubishi MU-2B was bound for the Columbia County Airport when it went down in Copake near the Massachusetts state line at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

“It’s in the middle of a field, and it’s pretty muddy, so accessibility is difficult,” Columbia Undersheriff Jacqueline Salvatore said.
The National Transportation Safety Board will provide more details about the crash later on Sunday.
The incident comes just a couple of days after a tour chopper crashed into the Hudson River in New York City, killing six people.
