A Wisconsin teen accused of killing his stepfather and mother in March reportedly carried out the murders to “obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary” to assassinate President Donald Trump.
Nikita Casap, 17, is facing two counts of first-degree murder and hiding a corpse for the killings of Donald Mayer, 51, and Tatiana Casap, 35, whose bodies were discovered inside their Waukesha home on March 1.
A search of the juvenile suspect’s phone uncovered material related to “The Order of Nine Angles”, a network of new-Nazi extremists, investigators said.
The FBI reviewed documents written by Casap calling for the assassination of Trump and the start of a revolution to “save the white race.”
“He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government of the United States,” investigators said.
“And he paid for, at least in part, a drone and explosives to be used as a weapon of mass destruction to commit an attack.”
“Other parties, with whom Casap was in contact, appear to have been aware of his plan and action and to have provided assistance to Casap in carrying them out.”
Investigators are now pursuing federal charges against Casap, including conspiracy, presidential assassination, and use of weapons of mass destruction.
