A domestic violence dispute at a Gulfport church turned into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a security guard, authorities said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at Goldin Sports Complex just after 2 p.m. and found three people shot.

One of the victims, later identified as 39-year-old Eddie Shed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two others were transported to a local hospital. They were identified as a person associated with Empowerment Ministries Christian Center and the suspected shooter.
The shooting occurred at the end of a Resurrection Day event organized by the church.
