Police in Detroit arrested a suspect Friday morning in connection to a fatal shooting that claimed the lives of a man and a woman.
Officers were called shortly after 12:30 a.m. Friday to a home in the area of Coyle and Keeler streets on the city’s west side over reports of a shooting.
A man and a woman were found deceased from gunshot wounds inside the home.
Investigators said they arrested a suspect in connection to the double fatal shooting.
The male victim’s parents identified him as Edward Clark II. They identified the other victim as a friend.
Edward’s father described their late son as a bright young man who loved gaming. He leaves behind a daughter.
Police said that no other suspects were involved in the incident. A motive remains under investigation.
