KC sports anchor dies at 27 while covering Super Bowl

A Kansas City sports reporter died Wednesday while covering the Super Bowl in New Orleans. He was 27.

Adan Manzano, who lost his wife to a crash last April, was on assignment covering Sunday’s championship game for both Telemundo Kansas City and Tico Sports.

  • Manzano died in Kenner, Louisiana. His cause of death remains unclear but police said there were no signs of trauma.
