A Kansas City sports reporter died Wednesday while covering the Super Bowl in New Orleans. He was 27.
Adan Manzano, who lost his wife to a crash last April, was on assignment covering Sunday’s championship game for both Telemundo Kansas City and Tico Sports.

Manzano died in Kenner, Louisiana. His cause of death remains unclear but police said there were no signs of trauma.
“As KGKC’s Sports Anchor & Reporter, Adan was a true professional and a rising star, who exemplified excellence in his work,” KGKC said.
“We will deeply miss Adan and his passion for sports, and the contributions he made to the local community.”
