Brooklyn boy, 15, gunned down ‘over a look’ while returning from school

A Brooklyn boy is dead after he was gunned down in the lobby of his apartment building by a suspect who did not like his “look.”

The senseless murder of Heath Campbell took place in the lobby of the Rutland Plaza building where he lived at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The 15-year-old and his friends were returning from school when they encountered a depraved gunman who asked them “What are you looking at?” before opening fire striking Campbell and his friend.

    Heath died at the hospital, suffering two gunshot wounds to the back. his friend was shot in the shoulder and is in stable condition.

    “He was good at school. About four or five of his teachers came to the hospital. They brought flowers. They spoke really good of him,” the mother said.

    “I don’t know how I feel. He’s not gonna come back home no more. He’s gone.”
