An Ohio father was arrested Monday after he allegedly fatally shot his 24-year-old daughter during an argument over smoking in the house.
Franklin Thompson’s teen daughter arrived home to find her older sister with gunshot wounds. She called 911 and performed CPR but Heather Thompson died at the hospital.

The 64-year-old father was arrested a few houses down the street with blood on his clothes and the crime weapon still in his possession.
He allegedly “admitted to shooting his daughter several times during a verbal interaction” and “expressed zero remorse” for his alleged crime.
Authorities said Thompson had undergone a “recent brain operation causing lasting issues.”
