A Florida man called 911 Sunday evening to report killing his wife after an argument witnessed by their two children.
Rogelio Prestol, 46, told Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies that he accused his wife of infidelity and believed she was sending money to someone.
On Sunday, he asked Jhesandra Prestol to unlock her phone and give it to him threatening her with a 9mm handgun.
One of the couple’s children pleaded with his mom to give his father the phone but the woman chose to climb out of a window.
Prestol followed her to the front porch, firing at her “until he ran out of ammunition” and he “knew she was dead.”
The couple’s child told deputies “his ears hurt because he was really close when his father shot his mother.”
The man called his brother and shared that he planned to commit suicide but the brother convinced him to surrender.
