Masked men kill disabled woman after kicking in front door; spraying Dallas apartment with bullets

A group of masked gunmen broke into a Dallas apartment where a disabled woman lived on her own and opened a barrage of fire, killing her.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Kingbridge Crossing apartments where Alice Fisher was resting on her reclining chair after returning from the hospital.

Fisher, who lived alone, was on the phone with her sister when the suspects kicked in her front door and opened fire shooting her nine times.

  • Her family said every room in the apartment was sprayed with bullets including the bathroom. Surveillance footage and witnesses confirmed the assailants were young men with ski masks on.

    “Wrong apartment. That’s what we’ve been hearing,” the victim’s niece said. “Looking for someone else. It was like the wrong door. She didn’t deserve it.”

    “Her being a loving, caring aunt, sister, mother, and a friend,” the relative added.

    “No enemies. She was a good woman and a loving and kind neighbor,” another added.
