2 workers die from electrocution at farming job in Virginia

Two workers died Thursday afternoon after getting electrocuted at a Virginia farm, officials said.

Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Dry Fork community to reports of a structure fire.

Once at the scene, they located two unresponsive men who were later pronounced dead.

    Investigators determined that farming equipment made contact with high-voltage lines causing the electrocution.

    The coroner’s office will investigate and confirm a cause and manner of death.
