An Illinois woman is dead after she was found unresponsive on the roof of a hospital earlier this week.
The family of 28-year-old Chelsea Adolphus wants answers after she was found unresponsive in frigid temperatures on the roof of the Vista Medical Center East on Thursday.
Chelsea died 14 hours after she was found. Her family said she had been admitted to the hospital days earlier for undisclosed reasons.
“Somebody needs to give me what happened to my baby, Chelsea, that is gone, and I will never get back my daughter,” Yolanda Adolphus said.
The incident is under investigation. How and why Chelsea got on the roof remains a mystery.
“She was sweet. She was friendly. You could ask her for anything. She was a kind person. I’m hurt. I’m sad. The way my daughter went. I want answers. I want them to give me answers to know what happened to my daughter.”
