Authorities in Texas City are investigating after a man was found deceased in a fountain at a local venue that hosts car shows and theater events.
The discovery was made at around 7:15 a.m. at the Showboat Pavilion.

The body was identified as a 43-year-old man but further information is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
Detectives said that foul play was not involved in the death assuring the public that there was no ongoing threat.
