Authorities in Miami Beach said Friday that the severed human head that washed ashore on Key Biscayne Tuesday belonged to a missing swimmer.
19-year-old Victor Castaneda disappeared Saturday afternoon after getting caught in a rip tide.
An extensive search for the young man went in vain until his head was found by a person raking the sand on a Key Biscayne beach Tuesday.
