A Houston liquor store employee was found slain, “riddled with bullets” at her workplace Tuesday.
Tikisha King, 29, was shot and killed at around 12:30 p.m. at Ralston Discount Liquor, police said.
A coworker discovered her body “riddled with bullets” about 15 minutes later.
Houston Police announced on Wednesday the arrest of 39-year-old Michael Dewayne Wilkerson.
Wilkerson, who was the victim’s ex-boyfriend, was charged with capital murder and tampering with evidence.
“She was a hard worker. She had goals,” King’s friend said adding that the pair broke up recently.
“She didn’t want to be with him. She had someone else she was with, so she didn’t want to be with him. She just told him she didn’t want to be in a relationship with him.”
