Waukesha news, Wisconsin news.

A Wisconsin mother was arrested after she allegedly dumped her 12-year-old son on a busy highway over his bad grades.

Officers found the crying teen walking along Interstate 94 on Thursday and learned that he had been walking alone for 5 minutes in cold weather.

The boy said he and his mother argued over his bad grades and “school work habits” before she kicked him out of the vehicle and left him to walk to Sylvan Learning Center, more than two miles away.
