President-elect Donald Trump joked Wednesday that Elon Musk won’t leave him after playing a big role in his election victory.
“Elon won’t go home,” Trump reportedly said before a House Republican conference meeting on Capitol Hill.
“I can’t get rid of him. Until I don’t like him,” the 78-year-old reportedly quipped before adding “Elon has been so great.”
Trump recently named the tech mogul a co-lead in the new Department of Government Efficiency along with Vivek Ramasmawy.
“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies – Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement,” Trump shared on Nov. 12.
