Majority of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of presidential transition: New Poll

A recent CBS News/YouGov poll showed that a majority of Americans are either happy or at least satisfied that Donald Trump won the election and optimistic about his plans for the future.

The survey, conducted with a sample of 2,232 U.S. adults from Nov. 19 to Nov. 22, revealed that most Americans are satisfied with Trump’s handling of his presidential transition, especially his choice of Sen. Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

A majority of Republicans said they are excited about what the President-elect will do than they were in 2016.

  • On the other hand, democrats said that they feel more “scared” about what Trump plans to do than they did in 2016, expressing fears he would threaten their freedom and rights.

    Americans’ expectations of Trump’s administration are optimistic when it comes to the economy, as many believe inflation played a crucial role in his victory.

    The surveyed hoped Trump’s new administration will bring down food and grocery prices while most continue to say that the prices are currently climbing.
