Cary news, North Carolina news.

Relatives of a North Carolina mother believe her teen son killed her, his girlfriend and himself inside their Cary home earlier this week.

Police have yet to confirm the family’s suspicions, but 19-year-old Xavier Holton was clearly struggling with mental health issues in the weeks leading to the tragedy.

Erica Holton, 54, Aminah Guy, 19, and Xavier Holton, 19, were found dead from gunshot wounds by Erica’s husband, Shawn Certain, who had just returned home from work.

Certain told detectives his stepson had suicidal thoughts. Guy’s mother revealed that her daughter told her about Xavier’s symptoms.
