A Minnesota man was arrested in connection to the August murder of a mother-of-two who was strangled to death at her home.
Christopher Neal, 45, was charged with second-degree murder over the death of Victoria Gamble, 38.
The victim was found dead inside her Sauk Rapids, Minnesota home on August 12, hours after she allegedly met Neal at a bar.
Gamble’s family said the suspect offered to drive her home and she accepted.
Surveillance footage caught Gamble and Neal interacting at a bar before leaving together and then entering Gamble’s apartment.
The man left the apartment alone about two hours later and stole Gamble’s car.
Detectives arrested him at a Louisiana hotel after tracking the victim’s stolen car.
In October, an autopsy confirmed that Gamble died by strangulation. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Gamble was a mother of two sons, according to a GoFundMe page.
“She loved her boys with all her heart and soul, and they were the center of her world,”
“She was also a dear and loving friend to many people.”
