Robertson County news, Kentucky news.

Authorities in northern Kentucky responded to a gruesome scene at a Robertson County home on Wednesday.

A witness called 911 at around 12:30 p.m. to report finding a body in the backyard of the home.

The man said he arrived at the home of Trudy Fields to do some work on the property but did not get an answer when he knocked on the door so he walked through the backyard.

There, he found a pile of hair, two blood-stained mattresses, and other evidence before stumbling upon a mutilated body.
