Washington news, US news.

Former President Donald Trump questioned Vice President Kamala Harris’ claim that she had worked at McDonald’s while she was in school.

Trump made the remarks Friday at the Moms for Liberty convention in Washington.

“She also said, ‘I worked at McDonald’s.’ Turned out she didn’t work at McDonald’s,” Trump said.

Speculations over Harris’s work at McDonald’s continued to mount since she started citing the summer job to portray herself in a humbler manner.

Asked if she worked at the fast food restaurant on The Drew Barrymore show last April, Harris responded “I did.”

“I did work at McDonald’s. When I was at school…I did fries, and then I did the cashier.”
