Former President Donald Trump shook up the 2024 race this week by addressing a key election issue when he revealed he would vote against Florida’s six-week abortion ban.

Trump told DailyMail.com that he did not think six weeks was enough time since most women are not even aware of pregnancy at that time.

But he did not commit to using the presidential veto in the case a nationwide federal ban ended up on his desk as a president.

Florida holds a referendum on Amendment 4, a step that would abolish the ban on abortion after six weeks and replace it with a 24-week program.
