Washington news, US news.

Former President Donald Trump has lashed out at President Joe Biden over the historic prison swap that freed Americans Evan Gershkovish and Paul Whelan from a wrongful detention in Russia Thursday.

The Republican presidential nominee speculated that Biden made concessions to Russia to have the American hostages freed.

“Are we also paying them cash? Are they giving us cash (Please withdraw that question, because I’m sure the answer is NO?)” Trump posted on Truth Social.
