More than 1,800 Southwest Airlines flights delayed over weather and ATC issues

Southwest Airlines’ passengers saw their flights canceled or delayed since Friday night as company officials cited air traffic control and bad weather.

The Federal Aviation Administration’s handling of air traffic management programs coupled with challenging weather conditions led to at least 1,800 cancellations, the company explained.
