Helicopter crashes into plane in Chandler, Ariz. Skies; 2 confirmed dead

A deadly plane collision has killed two passengers of a helicopter that crashed into a plane near an Arizona airport before it caught fire early Friday morning.

The mid-air crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m. near the Chandler Municipal Airport near McQueens and Queen Creek, local authorities said.

    Chandler Police Sgt. Jason McClimans announced that all roads in the area and the airport will remain closed as the investigation continues.
