A deadly plane collision has killed two passengers of a helicopter that crashed into a plane near an Arizona airport before it caught fire early Friday morning.
The mid-air crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m. near the Chandler Municipal Airport near McQueens and Queen Creek, local authorities said.

The involved fixed-wing plane managed to land safely but the smaller aircraft burst into flames killing its two passengers.
Chandler Police Sgt. Jason McClimans announced that all roads in the area and the airport will remain closed as the investigation continues.
Chandler Police are asking anyone with information or video of the fatal incident to call them at 480-782-4130.
